Love and let die is the new album from Dasto, the solo project of unrenowned californian music disparager Jehf Jones. His compositions are structured like an auricular headache---repetitive, drawn out tonal arrangements with sustained throbbing concinnity. The follow up to his last album on sounds asleep, tired fire, love and let die shows a darker sound and even more melancholic in mood to its predecessor, as well as allowing the sound of the guitar to break through the wall of effect and delays.
