AC Hum is the result of a music collaboration between Scots folk singer-songwriting and multi-instrumentalists Iona Marshall and Alan Oates (Little Pebble/Come In Tokyo). The collaboration began in January 2008 with tracks being passed back and forth between the two, building up and resulting in this EP. The 6 tracks form an intriguing mixture of folk, lo-fi electronics, found sounds and samples, with vocal duties being shared by the both alan and iona. The songs hold an experimental edge whilst remaining catchy. Listen: signal
