Not much needs to be said about this one. Jon Hopkins is one of the shining lights of the UK electronic music scene, with 2 well received albums under his belt and all manner of remixes and production credits. jon has worked with brian eno, coldplay, david holmes, massive attack, king creosote and james yorkston to name but a few. therefore, we are very pleased to present the "fourth state" EP - 32 minutes of lush melodic drifting ambience which harks back to the heyday of ambient music in the 90’s as well as referencing the current scene of minimal yet involving and organic close listening music presented by labels like Kranky.
