Sugar skulls is the first album released on sounds asleep by english bore. re-issued as a single CD with new artwork by Grohs, the album further explores the decayed sounds and ambience of the drone based "anaesthesia diary" EP released through fence records, but this time incorporates rhythm and fractured melodies into the mixture. the album was produced and arranged entirely by john amino.
